The Complete-ish List of Crypto Exchanges and Wallets Supporting the BitTorrent (BTT) Airdrop

With BitTorrent’s BTT airdrop launching on Monday, you might be wondering which crypto exchanges and wallets are supporting it. Here is a growing list of the services that have confirmed their support of the airdrop.

What You Need to Know About the BitTorrent (BTT) Airdrop

The BitTorrent airdrop is actually a six-year-long event that will drop BTT tokens to Tron (TRX) each month from now until February 2025. The first drop will take place on Monday, February 11th, at 00:00 UTC (midnight) and will continue as follows:

Date(s)BTT Airdropped
February 11, 2019Initial airdrop of 10,890,000,000 BTT
March 11, 2019 - February 11, 2020990,000,000 BTT airdropped on the 11th of each month
March 11, 2020 - February 11, 20211,072,500,000 BTT airdropped on the 11th of each month
March 11, 2021 - February 11, 20221,155,000,000 BTT airdropped on the 11th of each month
March 11, 2022 - February 11, 20231,237,500,000 BTT airdropped on the 11th of each month
March 11, 2023 - February 11, 20241,320,000,000 BTT airdropped on the 11th of each month
March 11, 2024 - February 11, 20251,402,500,000 BTT airdropped on the 11th of each month

TRON holders will receive BTT tokens based on the number of TRX tokens they have on a participating crypto exchange or wallet. To determine this, an initial snapshot of the TRON network will be taken once the block height hits 6.6 million. Subsequent monthly snapshots will be taken at 00:00 UTC on the 11th day of each month.

On Monday, TRON holders will receive BTT tokens at a ratio of 1 TRX = 0.11 BTT. So if you have 1000 TRX you will receive 110 BTT.

For each monthly airdrop AFTER the initial drop, the formula for calculating rewards (R = U / T x B) is a little more complicated. Each user’s BTT reward (R) is determined by dividing the total number TRX held by the user at the time of the snapshot (U) by the total number of TRX held by Binance at that time, multiplied by the total number of BTT (B) received by Binance for each month’s respective airdrop.
